You are wondering how much to lift?...how do you find the correct dumbbell for your weight training?
This is one of the most common questions I get asked in store everyday. The easiest way to do this is come into your local Elite Fitness Equipment store or visit your local gym and carefully test which is the heaviest dumbbell with which you can do one maximum effort bicep curl. The dumbbell weight for you should be around 60% of the heaviest weight you can do one maximum repetition of. For example if you can lift once a 10kg weight then you would be best to start your weight training with a 6kg Dumbbell.
